Max Verstappen claimed victory in his eighth consecutive race prior to the summer hiatus at Spa, further solidifying Red Bull’s remarkable achievement of triumphing in all 12 races of the 2023 season thus far. This exceptional feat stands as an unprecedented record.
Red Bull has achieved victory in the last 13 grands prix, setting a remarkable record that could have reached 23 consecutive wins if it hadn’t been for George Russell and Mercedes winning the Brazilian Grand Prix last year.
But despite the team’s unprecedented dominance with its all-conquering RB19, team principal Horner refuted any concerns over complacency setting it at the Milton Keynes squad.
“I have a different opinion. I believe we are currently approaching each race and session individually, without looking too far ahead,” stated Horner. “It is crucial to maintain this level of concentration.”
“I believe everyone is focused and not letting their thoughts wander, which I think will make the championship feel very lengthy.”
There is a significant amount of activity occurring behind the scenes at Red Bull Powertrains, as preparations are underway in Milton Keynes for the upcoming year 2026. Therefore, there is plenty to capture people’s attention and maintain their focus.
Red Bull has been approached by several rival teams seeking to recruit its top employees. Rob Marshall, a significant figure, is moving to McLaren. Additionally, Red Bull has actively recruited a large number of engineers to establish its new engine division.

Horner believes that as the pressure on Red Bull increases, the task of maintaining their leading position becomes more difficult. However, he is confident that Red Bull’s strong and talented team will be able to prevent any decrease in performance.
He clarified that the challenges are constantly changing because, as the hunter, all attention is directed towards the target in front of you.
Experiencing the unexpected shift to being pursued brings about a distinct form of stress.
Certainly, we receive a multitude of inquiries from all these individuals, pursuing our employees, sponsors, and everything else you can think of.
Achieving a goal is one challenge, maintaining it is another. However, I believe that the team’s spirit and culture are crucial factors in our success. We have a strong and diverse team with consistent performance over a significant duration, which is highly valuable in this industry.
