Austin Hill has agreed to a multi-year contract extension with RCR and will continue to be a part of the team.

Hill, 29, will continue to drive the No. 21 RCR Chevrolet Camaro for the foreseeable future. 

The person from Georgia has achieved six wins in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) throughout their career. Out of those triumphs, four have occurred in this year alone, and they currently hold the top position in the regular season rankings. Their average finishing position of 7.5 surpasses all other Xfinity regular competitors. Additionally, they are leading in both top-five and top-ten finishes within the series.

This is his second year as a full-time NXS driver, ending the 2022 season sixth in the final standings.

Hill expressed his gratitude for being able to continue his racing career with Richard Childress Racing, stating that he has found a sense of belonging with the team. He also acknowledged the team’s remarkable success in the racing world.

“I had various options to consider when planning my future career, but ultimately, my decision was based on the prospect of being in the company of competitive individuals who are determined to succeed, have faith in my abilities, and will strive to provide me with every chance to achieve success. I express my gratitude to Richard Childress and the entire team at RCR and ECR Engines. I am thrilled to compete for victories and championships in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for many years ahead.”

Hill has participated in 122 races in the Truck Series, achieving victory in a total of eight of them. In the year 2019, he reached his highest position of fifth place in the points standings.

Furthermore, Hill has participated in specific Cup races during the previous two years, achieving his highest performance at Michigan in 2022 with an 18th place finish.
