Lapcevich, 19, led every lap in the first of the 125-lap doubleheader Wednesday night at Sutherland Automotive Speedway, a 1/3-mile bank, asphalt oval.
In the second race, he faced an initial obstacle from Alex Guenette before concluding a flawless evening. No driver had previously achieved a clean sweep of both races at Sutherland.
“I am at a loss for words,” expressed Lapcevich. “Today has been an incredible day for the No. 20 team and for 22 Racing, finishing first and second in the second race. I am extremely grateful to my team for making this achievement possible, and I want to extend my appreciation to all the fans in western Canada who warmly embraced us.”
